30 UX Books You Should (Probably) Have On Your Shelf

(Or in a pile next to your computer so you can tell yourself “I’ll get to these eventually.”)

I’m a sucker for book recommendations. Especially when it comes to something I’m passionate about (for reference, ask me about my poker book purchases between 2003-2008). So as I was typing notes away furiously, I also noted any book recommendations that were thrown at us during this year’s Nielsen Norman Group UX Conference in SF. Some of the books I already owned, others I did not. I’ve complied a few lists below, primarily so that my Amazon cart doesn’t get too full!
